Product Introduction

Overview

Fiberglass thin mat is manufactured through specialized processes such as cutting long fibers into specific lengths, filament separation, layering, and laminating. Its internal structure features multi-axial distribution of single fibers, a three-dimensional microporous configuration with high porosity, and a balance of internal looseness and compactness. The surface contains abundant micropores while maintaining a smooth, dense finish. The mat exhibits excellent rebound resilience after compression. As a non-toxic and harmless inorganic material, it produces no dust compared to traditional glass wool or asbestos products. Its unique flexibility and flatness facilitate easy cutting and shaping. Widely used in gas/liquid filtration, thermal insulation, fireproofing, sound absorption, and electrical insulation applications.

2.Temperature Resistance：Temperature range -70℃ ~ 600℃.
3.Thermal Insulation：The three-dimensional microporous structure helps to form air insulation and thermal insulation layer. (Thermal conductivity: 0.035W /M•K±0.005 at room temperature)
4.Soundproofing and Sound Absorption：The unique structure enhances soundproofing and sound absorption effects.
5.Good filtration and purification effect: it can filter water, chemical liquids, etc.
6.Good Vibration Resistance and Lightweight.

Main uses

● Fireproofing, high-temperature resistance, thermal insulation, sound absorption, and high-temperature sealing materials; can be used as core materials, sheets, gaskets, and liners.
● Insulating pads for car sunroofs and engine hoods.
● Insulating pads for car sunroofs and engine hoods.
● Insulating pads for household appliances such as ovens, microwave ovens, and lamps.
● Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mats are used as insulation board base material;
● Chopped Strand Mats are used to filter water, chemical liquids;
● Fiberglass Matting is used in new energy batteries (e.g., automotive battery packs) and energy storage systems for thermal insulation and fire protection to prevent fires or explosions caused by thermal runaway of batteries.
