High silica fiber fabric represents the fourth generation of heat-resistant materials, succeeding asbestos, ceramic fiber, and glass fiber. It is manufactured from ultra-pure high silica fibers using internationally advanced technology and specialized equipment through a series of precision processes. Thanks to its high-bond-energy molecular structure, this material exhibits exceptional thermal stability, chemical resistance, and wave transparency - outperforming other heat-resistant fibers - while also offering outstanding environmental benefits such as being asbestos-free, dust-free, and non-irritating to the skin.
As an optimal replacement for conventional fireproof and thermal insulation materials, high silica fabric is also an ideal choice for wave-transparent applications. Its uses extend across numerous high-tech fields, including aerospace, defense, and nuclear energy; 5G communication equipment (e.g., radomes, antenna covers, and wave-transparent components); transportation (such as automotive parts, rail systems, marine engineering, and aircraft); new energy (including battery safety protection, solar power, and thermal storage); as well as specialized industries like metallurgy, petrochemicals, construction, environmental protection, energy, and fire safety.
Critical to aerospace and national defense, high silica fiber cloth is woven from continuous filament or plied yarn via meticulous warping, threading, and weaving processes. - High-Temperature Resistance: Maximum series softening point approaches 1,700°C; Maintains fibrous state and flexibility after 1 hour at 1,000°C under static conditions; Instantaneous heat resistance up to 1,450°C (varies by series).
- Fireproof & Flame-Retardant: Achieves Class A1 non-combustibility (GB8624-2012 standard).
- Ablation Resistance & Low Thermal Conductivity: Stable under thermal shock and extreme radiation. Excellent thermal insulation and safety in ultra-high-temperature environments (e.g., withstands 90 minutes of 1,000°C butane torch without penetration; varies by product series).
- High-Temperature Insulation: Superior insulation under high temperatures and voltages for cable protection.
- Corrosion Resistance: Maintains performance in weak acids/alkalis (excluding hydrofluoric, phosphoric, and hydrochloric acids).
- Aging Resistance: Resists weathering, moisture, and UV exposure.
- Three-dimensional plasticity: The skeleton substrate is properly controlled, has good bonding properties with high temperature glue, and can be made of various modules for high temperature liquid filtration, gas separation or as a catalyst or enzyme carrier;
- Electrical Performance: Excellent dielectric properties for wave-transmitting material.
- Eco-Friendliness: Asbestos-free (asbestos is classified as carcinogenic by IARC), dust-free (unlike ceramic fibers), and non-irritating (unlike glass fibers).
