High Silica Fiber is the fourth-generation heat-resistant fiber material following asbestos, ceramic fiber, and glass fiber. It is produced using ultra-fine High Silica Fibers, advanced international technology, and specialized equipment through multiple rigorous processes. With a high-bond-energy molecular structure, High Silica Fiber exhibits superior "thermal stability, chemical stability, and wave transparency" compared to other heat-resistant fibers, along with excellent environmental benefits (asbestos-free, dust-free, non-irritating to skin). It serves as the optimal substitute for traditional fireproof and heat-resistant materials and is an ideal wave-transparent material. Applications span high-tech fields such as aerospace, military, nuclear energy; 5G communication equipment (radomes, antenna covers, wave-transparent devices); transportation (automotive parts, rail transit, marine engineering, aircraft); new energy (battery safety protection, solar energy, air energy); and other specialized industries (metallurgy, petrochemicals, construction, environmental protection, power, fire protection).

High silica fiber cord is manufactured by twisting and braiding high silica fiber filaments. It can be used independently or as a raw material for producing cords, tapes, and tubes.

  • High-Temperature Resistance:

Maximum series softening point approaches 1,700°C. Maintains fibrous state and flexibility after 1 hour at 1,000°C under static conditions. Instantaneous heat resistance up to 1,450°C (varies by series).

  • Fireproof & Flame-Retardant:

Our Silica Fiber Optic Patch Cords comply with the Class A1 non-combustibility rating as per the GB8624-2012 standard.

  • Ablation Resistance & Low Thermal Conductivity:

Stable under thermal shock and extreme radiation.

Excellent thermal insulation and safety in ultra-high-temperature environments (e.g., withstands 90 minutes of 1,000°C butane torch without penetration; varies by product series).

 

  • High-Temperature Insulation: Superior insulation under high temperatures and voltages for cable protection.
  • Corrosion Resistance: Maintains performance in weak acids/alkalis (excluding hydrofluoric, phosphoric, and hydrochloric acids).
  • Aging Resistance: Engineered for reliability, our Silica Fiber Patch Cord is highly resistant to harsh environmental conditions including weathering, moisture, and UV radiation.
  • Eco-Friendliness: Asbestos-free (asbestos is classified as carcinogenic by IARC), dust-free (unlike ceramic fibers), and non-irritating (unlike glass fibers).
